Mayse Construction Company going GREEN!

Crusher

With landfill space dwindling, finding a cost effective way to dispose of waste asphalt and concrete has become a major issue.   However, this has provided Mayse Construction with an opportunity to expand its business and save you money at the same time.

With our Fast Track Mobile Crusher, you can use recycled concrete and asphalt for your construction needs while cutting the cost of materials used on the job.   This service is adaptable for your convenience, as we can provide this service at our location, or easily move it to yours.   Additionally, our Fast Track Mobile Screen can adapt to your specific job requirements.   It can easily be adjusted to crush your material waste to the specified grade you desire, from 8" down to fine gradation, depending on the thickness and type of the material being recycled.

Please call Mayse Construction Company for more information on how to participate in this new opportunity for all sizes of projects, from backyard projects to major construction sites.

What We Do

Going Green

We are dedicated to promoting a positive and GREEN environment!!   We can recycle all your masonry construction debris including concrete (even with rebar), asphalt, blocks, and bricks.   Dumping at our facility can save your company money as compared to dumping at conventional landfill sites.   More importantly, recycling your debris saves room in our country's landfills while saving our natural resources.   No matter the project, we can guide you through the demolition of a structure, the responsible recycling of the material, and then the groundwork products you need to get started on your new project.   We can also come to your site and grind them down to ease your trucking disposal.   We have Certified Scale for weight in and out.

How the process works

We accept demolished sidewalk, curb and gutter, building slabs, concrete roadway pavement, concrete airport runway pavement, and miscellaneous other concrete debris.   The recyclable material is crushed and turned into an engineer approved base material, also known as Dense Graded Aggregate (DGA).   By using this material, we are able to save our customers time and money while keeping these materials out of our landfills.

Going Green

Recycled concrete is an environmentally friendly product, made from demolished structures, construction waste, and other sources of broken concrete.   It is a cost effective alternative for DGA which is used as a stone base material.   DGA is very compactable, which makes it ideal for a base material under asphalt, concrete paving stones, or stone driveways.

As landfill costs for construction, demolition, and land-clearing debris continue to rise and the landfills become more heavily regulated, it makes economic sense to seek alternative means of recycling the concrete from construction and demolition operations.

LEED (Leadership in energy & Environmental Design)

Going Green

“The LEED Green Building Rating System recognizes recycled in its point system. Credit 4 (Materials and Resources) states, "specify a minimum of 25% of building materials that contain in aggregate a minimum weighted average of 20% post-consumer recycled content material, OR, a minimum weighted average of 40% post-industrial recycled content material." Using recycled aggregates instead of extracted aggregates would qualify as post-consumer. Because concrete is an assembly, its recycled content should be calculated as a percentage of recycled material on a mass basis.
Credit can also be obtained for Construction Waste Management. It is awarded based on diverting at least 50% by mass of construction, demolition, and land clearing waste from landfill disposal. Concrete is a relatively heavy construction material and is frequently recycled into aggregate for road based or construction fill.”

Did You Know!

“Recycling concrete from demolition project can result in considerable savings since it saves the costs of transporting concrete to the landfill (as much as $0.25 per ton/mile, and eliminates the cost of disposal (as high as $100.00 per ton).”
